Hey band! It's time to sign up to volunteer at the Cap City Marching Festival! It's all day on Saturday, September 30th at the Burger Center in South Austin. All students are required to volunteer and every family is expected to have at least one adult volunteer. 

If possible, please sign up BEFORE Everything Day on Saturday August 19. This not only helps us, your friendly organizers, but it will make the line go faster on Everything Day as you can skip right past the Cap City Volunteering table! 

Anyone can sign up by going to https://lasaraptorband.boosterhub.com/calendar/2875?eventId=38284# and clicking "View Volunteer Opportunities". Band members can also sign up through the Boosterhub app on your phone, by going to the Volunteer section and searching for "Capital City". After you sign up, expect that a lead will reach out before the event, to make sure you understand your role and have the support you need.

Notes:

• Some slots are "adult only". Students, don't sign up for those! Parents, please DO sign up for those, so students have more slots to choose from.
• The LASA Band will play at 10am. Students, don't sign up for any slots that conflict with your performance. Parents, we really need you to volunteer during this time. There will be MANY chances throughout the season to see the LASA band perform.
• Share the link! Our volunteer sign-ups are not limited to just band folks or just LASA people. Anyone is welcome to volunteer—if you know of anyone who is a marching band fanatic, be sure to let them know they can come to the festival for free if they volunteer for a shift. In addition, these should count as sponsored NHS hours for any LASA student looking for hours.
